Wall painting, sketch and drawing contests to create ambience for Simhastha-2016« Back

Various competitions like wall painting, sketch and drawing will be organised to create an atmosphere of Simhastha Fair-2016 at local level. A quiz contest will be organised for school and college students in the second week of July 2015. Simhastha Fair Office and Public Relations department are planning to publish an e-newsletter on Simhastha.

All these decisions were taken during a meeting organized at Fair office under the chairmanship of Deputy Fair Officer Gopal Dad, here on Wednesday. A slogan writing contest will be organised this month to select the slogans for the publicity of Simhastha.

Citizens can send their entries through e-mail, SMS and in writing at Fair office and Municipal Corporation. An advertisement will be released soon in this regard. Slogans and posters related to Simhastha will be pasted on inter-state, city and other passenger buses. Huge hoardings will be placed at railway station, bus stand and prime religious spots to make visitors aware about Simhastha.

For the local publicity of Simhastha, short documentaries will be prepared and they would be uploaded on youtube and Simhastha website. FM, Radio and other channels will be invited to be radio partner of the mega event. A workshop of media and scholars will also be organised at local level. Deputy fair officer SS Rawat, additional municipal commissioner Vishal Singh Chouhan, in-charge joint director of Public Relations Dr RR Patel and others were present at the meeting.

Training for Work Tracking System today
Training will be organised to address the anomalies of Work Tracking System to review Simhastha development works, at Simhastha Fair office at 10 am on Thursday. All works departments were asked to present at the training along with their concerned superintending engineer, executive engineer, SDM, deputy engineer and computer operators.
