Ujjain : Simhastha Sevadal and its constituents run camps during the Simhastha Mahaparva concluded in a gracious ceremony at Prabhu Prami Sangh Shivir located at Bhukimata area, here on Monday.
Mahamandleshwar Swami Avdeshanand Maharaj inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp followed by guests felicitating the Avdeshanand Maharaj by presenting him Shawl, Shreephal and memento. Concluding ceremony was attended by host of dignitaries including Central Simhastha Fair Organising Committee (CSFOC) chairman Makhan Singh Chouhan, School Education Minister Paras Jain, State Planning Commission vice-chairman Babulal Jain, Rajya Sabha member Satya Narayan Jatiya, MLA Mohan Yadav, Ujjain Development Authority chairman Jagdish Agrawal, Municipal Speaker Sonu Gehlot, City Congress Committee president Anant Narayan Meena, Simhastha Sevadal Committee president Prakash Chittora and others. Prakash Chitorra gave the inaugural address highlighting the important works carried out by Sevadal in Simhastha Mahakumb.

Media in-charge Amitoj Bhargava And Sanjay Lalwani informed that for rendering exceptional services in Simhastha, Dr Mohan Yadav and Ramesh Chandra Sharma from Bharat Scouts and Guides, Subhash Gaud from Seva Samiti, Arun Rochwani from Congress Sevadal, Dr Prashant Pauranik and Rajesh Gandhara from National Service Scheme (NSS), SK Pushthi from National Cadet Corps (NCC) were felicitated by presenting them keepsake.
Swami Avdeshanand in his address said that volunteers of Simhastha Sevadal have worked with extraordinary enthusiasm and dedication. Saints and sages were pleased with the arrangements in Simhastha and none of them complained about the same. Makhan Singh Chouhan said a person’s character gets enriched by rendering services in society. By rendering selfless services one becomes good samaratian. Paras Jain said, State government has begun the preparation for Simhastha four years ago due to the advance planning Ujjain city has got much needed infrastructural boost.
