Ujjain : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated many development works to public on his visit to the city on 24 June 2015. CM Chouhan dedicated Maharishi Saint Balinath community hall built at Kishanpura during his visit. It cost Rs 1.99 lakh in construction of the first phase of the hall and Rs 1.67 lakh in the second phase. Addressing on this occasion CM said Cabinet had given green signal to develop Dr BR Ambedkar Institute of Mhow as a University. Every student should take admission in college. State government will finance the education expanses of the students. He will not let labourers of Vinod and Bimal Mill to face injustice. They will be given their pending amount by selling the lands of the mill, added the CM. CM also announced for providing help in treatment to accident victims. Rajput community provided help fund of Rs 51, 000 to Nepal earthquake victims. Tan Singh Kushwah and others gave away the cheque to the CM.
CM also dedicated the development works at Sandipani Ashram and directed officials to clean Gomati Kund. Development works done by Tourism Development Corporation were dedicated. CM also made visit to the renovation works of Gomti Kund worth Rs 33 lakh. CM Chouhan also dedicated the river over bridge built over Kshipra worth Rs 9 crore by Bridge Development Corporation. The bridge has been built over Kshipra to connect Mangalnath and Siddhnath temples. Tourism Development Corporation has done several development works at Jiwajirao Observatory at the cost of Rs 42 lakh looking to the arrival of visitors during Simhastha Fair-2016. The corporation has been working over the project of Rs 446 lakh at Mangalnath, Siddhawat, Narsing Ghat, Chintaman Ganesh, Harsiddhi, Garhkalika, Hasampura Jain Tirth and others.
