Ujjain : The magnificence of Simhastha Mahakumbh entices the visitors from every corner of the globe. To witness the glory of the festival of faith, a group of 87 devotees from abroad arrived at Shri Alakhpuri Siddhapeeth Ashram of Mahamandleshwar Swami Maheshwarananand on Sunday. Moreover, 500 overseas devotees are likely to visit the Ashram.
Shri Alakhpuri Siddhapeeth Ashram is conducted at Ranipura area of Dutt Akhara zone by Swami Maheshwaranand of Shri Om Ashram Jadan district Pali of Rajasthan. A group of 87 overseas visitors stay at the Ashram. Young saint Avtar Puri who is a multi-linguist helps them to get in acquaintance of the conventional practices. There are four Mahamandleshwars of the Ashram. Swami Jasrajpuri of Australia, Swami Vivekpuri of Europe and Swami Gyaneshwarpuri are designated as Mahamandleshwars.
The group of visitors visiting the Siddhapeeth Ashram is from Autralia, Germany, England, France, Belgium, Bangkok, Canada, Scotland, Hungary and other nations. These overseas devotees will follow a schedule of prayer, meditation, asanas, pranayam, discourse, visiting religious and heritage spots, group discussion, pujan and aarti. Swami Maheshwaranand says, “Simhastha Mahakumbh plays a significant role in Sanatan Dharma of Indian Culture. The Mahakumbh keeps a distinctive value because of the seat of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlingam in the city of Ujjain.”
