Nashik Kumbh’s experience to work for better organisation of Simhastha: Gaur« Back

Ujjain : Home Minister of State Babulal Gaur visited Nasik Kumbh Mela to ensure better facility for devotees during upcoming Simhastha Fair-2016 in the city of temples. There are three town in-charges at Nashik police station and they are deployed to maintain law and order, investigation and traffic and administration.

Minister Babulal Gaur visited Nashik Kumbh Mela along with IG V Madhukumar and his team. He also had a meeting with police officials and took information about the management of the grand fair. Gaur got the information about security and traffic system managed by Nashik police, in a meeting. Gaur told that he had learnt about many good things being done by Nashik police at Kumbh Fair. Policemen can get free treatment at private hospitals under Kutumb Arogya Yojana. They would think to launch same project in Simhastha-2016.

Nasik Police Commissioner S Jagannath was accompanied along with Gaur during the visit and he informed that there were 3200 cops in 13 police stations in Nashik along with additional force. The city is lace with CCTV cameras. Public Announcement System helps to circulate information across the fair area. He also told that shuttle bus service has been conducted from all eight routes of the city at the distance of 2 km from Ramghat. Vehicles are stopped at entry gates and devotees are commuted through shuttle bus service. There is only one entrance and four exits to control crowd at Ramghat. Local residents also coordinate with police.
