Ujjain : President and spiritual head of Parmarth Niketan, Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Rishikesh has expressed his desire to camp in upcoming mega religious congregation Simhastha–2016.

Office of Parmarth Niketan has written a letter for the allotment of 50,000 square feet land in Simhastha Fair area to Simhastha Fair Authority (SFA) and is very optimistic to get the chunk. If land would be allotted by SFA than it will be the first time Swamiji will camp in Ujjain Simhastha.

Till now Swamiji had conducted camps several times in the Kumbh of Allahabad and Haridwar. Swamiji is popularly known for his environment conservation works and is also the source of inspiration behind the mission of ‘Ganga Action Pariwar’ to preserve and protect Ganga and its tributaries.

All the credit of the creation of ‘Encyclopaedia of Hinduism’ also goes to Swamiji. Media in-charge, RM Mishra informed Free Press that on the lines of preserving River Ganga Swami also has plans to work for the preservation of River Kshipra. If we get land to camp then theme of our camp will be ‘Green Simhastha’ as per the resolution of creating environment awareness of Swamiji, he added.
