Ujjain, Apr 18: Every possible facility will be provided to media by Public Relations Department for coverage of Simhastha. For coverage, the department has set up 2 major and 16 sub media centres in Mela area. Arrangements to disseminate news after coverage have been made there. Three press galleries have also been set up at Ramghat for coverage during days of holy baths.
Public Relations Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla stated this while inspecting departmental works for Simhastha at Ujjain today. Commissioner Public Relations Shri Anupan Rajan was also present on the occasion.
Media centre is unique
Shri Shukla described as unique the main media centre set up in Dutt Akhada Zone. It is fully equipped for journalists including 50 computers for news, photographs and video communication. It has also studio for life telecast. At the studio, live coverage downlink of Doordarshan has also been given.
Daily press briefing
Shri Shukla informed that daily press briefing will be held at press briefing hall (capacity 300). Ministers,officers etc will give information to the Press during briefings. A dormitory of 50 beds has also been constructed in media centre, where media persons will take rest as per requirement.
Attractive scene of Kshipra from press galleries
Shri Shukla saw attractive scene of river Kshipra from press galleries being set up on Ramghat. During inspection of electronic media press gallery at Mauj Ki Dargah, the Minister said that very fine photography and videography can be done from there. He also inspected third new press gallery being set up near Ramghat and said that this also a very good viewpoint of Kshipra.
Media should face no difficulty
During review of departmental works, Shri Shukla said that arrangements should be made in such a way that media persons from country and abroad does not face any problem in coverage. They should also not face any problem in going to Ramghat and other points in Mela area. He also lauded widespread branding of Simhastha in India and abroad.
