Ujjain : Mahakal Zone magistrate Avadhesh Sharma, ASP Amrendra Singh and Mahakal CSP Abhishek Tiwari jointly made inspection of varioys spots of the zone and traffic management, on Sunday. They issued directives to the concerned officials to install railing on Kshipra ghats and told to increase the height of the railing.
Officials visited Ramghat and Maharishi Balinath Ghat and directed concerned authority to install a gate near the ghat to control crowd. Railing work on Kshipra ghats should be completed quickly. Zonal Magistrate and ASP also visited the parking lot near Rudra Sagar and issued directives to do leveling of the spot. They also had a word with Mehants of Chardham temple. After the inspection of Ramghat, instructions were given to maintain cleanliness in Kshipra and ensure not mixing of drainage water in the river. Temporary changing cabins should be managed at the ghats for ladies.
A survey is being conducted in the Simhastha area to ensure all basic amenities on the plots allotted to the saints. The staff conducting the survey presents regular report to the zonal magistrate. In case of any loopholes, the magistrate directed the concerned officer to visit the plot to resolve the problem. It was told that the staff of 671 officials and employees has been deputed in 7 sectors of Mahakal Zone. 546 staff members have reported at their work place.
