School Education Minister Paras Jain and Central Simhastha Committee’s Chairman Makhan Singh hoisted Dharm Dhwaja at Valmiki Ghat on the banks of Kshipra at Ujjain on Monday.
At Valmiki Dham, Valmiki followers, saints, devotees and hermits will take resolve for service. Valmiki Dham’s Mahant Balyogi Umeshnath Maharaj informed that observing Simhastha after a gap of 12 years was started by Ramchandra Baba Shainvi during Maratha rule in year 1732.
Valmiki community’s saints had dreamt of setting up a Valmiki Tirth on the banks of Kshipra where activities pertaining to daily evening Arti, Hawan-Pooja, Dhyan-Sadhana, Yogtap, Satsang, Gausewa, serving guests and spiritualism continue uninterruptedly. This dream was fulfilled when the only centre of Valmiki community Kshetra Valmiki Dham Siddhapeeth was established on the banks of Kshipra.
Dharm Dhwaja was hoisted after worship at Panchayati Bada Udaseen Akhada. Akhada Parishad’s president Narendra Giri Maharaj, General Secretary Hari Giri Maharaj, Mahant Maheshwar Das, Mukhiya Mahant Raghumuni Maharaj, Santoshmuni Maharaj, Durgadasmuni Maharaj, School Education Minister Paras Jain etc were present on the occasion.
Later, Paras Jain worshipped and hoisted Dharm Dhawaja at Siddhapeeth Dham Kalyan Mandir in Garh Kalika area and Akhada of Jaipur, Rajasthan’s Mahant Ram Dayal Maharaj.
Minister Paras Jain enquired about well being of saints and seers staying in shanties on Bhukhi Mata road in Dutt Akhada Zone. After hearing their problems, Jain expressed displeasure and directed to solve them within two days days. Otherwise action will be taken.
He directed to withhold payments if action is not taken within time-limit. Jain gave a patient hearing to Mahant Mani Bharatiya, Pujari Digambar Rameshwaranand Giri Maharaj, Thanapati Manish Giri Maharaj and Surendra Giri Ji Maharaj in the Pandals and directed to solve them.
