Ujjain : Central Simhastha Fair Organising Committee (CSFOC) Chairman Makhan Singh on Wednesday made inspection of development works and other arrangements managed at the fair area. He inspected Engineering College Road and check point near Meghdoot Dhaba on Indore Road. He sought information about the checking of vehicles arriving from Indore. Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor and ADGP V Madhukumar told that checking would be done through advanced machineries. Then they visited the site of satellite town at Sanwrakhdi. It was informed that Sanwrakhedi satellite town would be the nearest one from the Ramghat and would spread over 157 hectare area. Around 28, 000 vehicles would be parked and 12, 000 people would be able to stay there. Next Singh visited the holdup system to be developed at Lalpul during the time of bathe. It was informed that a pontoon bridge would be developed near under Lalpul as the width of old bridge is less. 7 pontoon bridges would be built over Kshipra river. Singh then paid the visit of Ramghat and sought information about the bathe of Akhada and exit and entrance of the crowd. Sign boards should be placed across the Fair area for the outsiders. It was told that the Barnagar Road would be a one-way route and dividers would be placed. Dividers would be placed over 70 km route in the city for the emergency.
