Ujjain : Public Relations Minister Rajendra Shukl reviewed the departmental preparations here on Monday. Three press galleries will be created at the Ramghat for the media to cover the event. He asked concerned officials to make all necessary arrangements for the media persons to ensure the best coverage of Simhastha Mahakumbh.

PR department has setup two prime media centers and 16 sub-media centers across the Simhastha Fair. These media centers are laced with all requisite resources for the local and outside media. 3 press galleries will be created at the Ramghat for media persons to cover the baths of Akhara saints. Minister Shukl on Monday visited the works done by PR department at the fair area. He praised the arrangements done at the centers and called them perfect for the journalists. The media center is laced with 50 computers, studio for live telecast and other facilities. Studio will also provide a downlink of live coverage of Doordarshan.
Shukl also visited the Press Briefing Hall built at the media center and told that regular press briefing will be done from there. Ministers and officials will brief the media about the events. The center is also equipped with a 50-bedded dormitory for media people. Minister also visited the press galleries created at Ramghat and praised the location for capturing the wonderful snaps of the banks of Kshipra. He asked officials to ensure all possible services for the local and foreign media. PR Commissioner Anupam Rajan, nodal officer Mangala Mishra, additional director Devendra Joshi and others were present.
